How we collect and publish reviews of 6:8

Every review on our site was written by a real person. What we publish, the few reasons we decline one, and why critical reviews stay up.

Reviews are only useful if you can trust them. Here is exactly how reviews of 6:8 reach our site, so you can decide how much weight to give them.

Written by people, never by us

Every review is submitted by someone through the review form. We do not write reviews, pay for them, offer rewards in exchange for them, or ask only happy users to leave one. If there are no reviews yet, the page says so.

Critical reviews are published

A low rating is not a reason to decline a review. A two-star review that explains what did not work is as welcome as a five-star one, and it stays up. The average rating shown is calculated from every published review.

The only reasons we decline one

A person reads each review before it is published. We decline a review only when it is:

  • Spam or advertising
  • Abusive, hateful, or harassing
  • Not about 6:8
  • Contains someone’s personal information
  • Not from a genuine user, such as a competitor or a paid writer

Where the automation stops

An automated assistant helps sort the queue by flagging likely spam or personal information, so a person can read the rest sooner. It never publishes or rejects anything on its own, and it is not allowed to treat a negative opinion as a problem. Every decision is made by a person, with a reason recorded when a review is declined.
