There is a particular feeling that comes from reading something wise. You nod, you save it, maybe you send it to a friend. Then the week happens and the lesson stays exactly where you left it.
Wisdom Circles exist for the gap between reading and living. They are small groups practising the same kind of lesson together, and they are deliberately simple.
How a Circle works
- Join a Circle around a theme you care about.
- Each week the Circle has one prompt, a single thing to practise.
- When you try it, log what you actually did: a practice, a lesson, a reflection or a milestone.
- Others in the Circle can give kudos to encourage you, and you can do the same for them.
Honest actions, not performance
A Circle measures real activity only. There are no follower counts to grow, and a short, honest note about a practice that went badly counts as much as a triumphant one. Often it counts for more, because it is the kind of note that helps the next person keep going.
Why a group helps
Most of us are better at keeping promises to other people than to ourselves. A Circle borrows that. You are not being graded, but you are being seen, and a few people noticing that you showed up is often enough to show up again.
Circles are in public beta. If you already gather people around a practice on Telegram, WhatsApp or X, you can apply to host one and connect your group.
